We were pleased to be involved in the partnership with Tesco to promote one of the famous Levi Roots products, the Reggae Reggae Sauce. The event was a fun day in aid of the Alzheimer's Society which took place in August 2011, on the Tesco Kennington Lane site in London. The fun day lasted for three hours and generated over £500.00.
The deluxe version of our Jerk Pan range was used for this event which produced a lot of interest and praise from Levi Roots himself on how well the drum looked and cooked. The Jerk Pan was controlled by a member of our staff, leaving Levi Roots to personally cook pieces of seasoned chicken to be marinated with his Reggae Reggae Sauce. There were free giveaways, merchandise sales, autograph signing and picture taking on the day.
The day was organised by Tesco store community champion Elaine Manning and store customer service manager Paul Marks.
We had our managing director Michael Brown there on the day providing support.
